Private Investigator Course

ISN has an experienced team of Investigators who apply their experience to provide a comprehensive training package beyond the minimal licensing requirements for those who are already Private Investigators and for those who are contemplating a career in this expanding field.

Our course meets all Government Private Security & Investigative Services training regulations.

The following is a short introduction of our instructors:

Dave Perry:

Dave Perry is the founder and CEO of Investigative Solutions Network Inc. He has over 32 years of law enforcement experience and has established an international reputation as one of Canada's premier investigators. Dave has over 27 years experience with the Toronto Police Service and worked several years in both the Homicide Squad and Sex Crimes Unit. He has solved and obtained confessions on some of the countries most difficult homicides. Dave is an expert in interviewing who teaches senior investigators, front line police officers, private security and human resource professionals throughout Canada and the United States.

Kate Lines:

Kate Lines was a member of the Ontario Provincial Police for over 33 years. She worked in uniform, drugs, fraud, intelligence, homicide and sexual assault. Kate was trained by the FBI to become Canada's first female criminal profiler. She retired as a Chief Superintendent in charge of the OPP's Investigation and Support Bureau. Kate has ignificant experience in human resource management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in conjunction with the Crime and Deviance Specialist Program from the University of Toronto and Advanced Certificates in Police Studies and Police Management Studies.

Chris Wilson:

Chris Wilson is a decorated law enforcement professional including 25 years with the Toronto Police Service and over 5 years in the private sector law enforcement arena. Chris retired from the Toronto Police Service at the rank of Staff Sergeant but, the highlight of his career was serving 6 years as a Detective in the Homicide Squad. He has an impressive record including the fact that he solved 32 out of 33 homicide cases assigned to him. After retiring, Chris attended U of T and obtained his Bachelor of Education degree. He is an expert in interviewing, investigating and teaching. With his years of experience, Chris has been a significant part of the training team at ISN for the past 5 years.
