Ron Wretham, President

Ron Wretham, Private Investigation and Investigators Toronto investigative solutions network, dave perry, Toronto police

Ron Wretham draws upon 30+ years as a decorated law enforcement professional with the Toronto Police Service, to meet a wide range of investigative needs, at Investigative Solutions Network, from the routine to the complicated, and especially when the matter is complex, sensitive, or involves a very high-stakes matter. Regarded as a strong leader, Ron has earned the respect from superiors, peers, and subordinates, as exhibited by several honours, including the Harold Adamson Police Officer of the Year Award.

Ron progressed through the ranks of the Toronto Police Service, from uniformed patrol to uniformed Staff Sergeant and Platoon Commander, leading a platoon of uniformed members in a division charged with the security and safety of over 200,000 community members. Ron was accountable for leadership, performance, discipline, mentoring, compliance, budget issues, and policy writing.

During his tenure at the Toronto Police Service, Ron coordinated, developed, and executed educational programs for the private sector and the police community. He co-chaired the Toronto Police Service Core Values and Mission Statement Committee with former deputy Chief Michael Boyd, served as member of the elite Emergency Task Force, Special Weapons Team, and the Drug Squad where he worked as an undercover operative and team leader. Ron served as a Detective and a Detective Sergeant in downtown Toronto where he lead 105 detectives and undercover police officers. Ron also planned and coordinated critical incident response plans for countless high-profile events, including the G7 Economic Summit, Major League Baseball All Star Game and numerous Caribana events.

Upon retiring from the Toronto Police Service and joining ISN as Vice President of Operations, Ron's presence has been immediately felt. Within the first six months alone:

Ron established policies, procedures, and operating regulations in report writing, equipment issuance and return, financial compensation to associates, and customer relations;

Conceptualized and created an in-house mobile surveillance team, and Retail Loss Prevention/Asset Protection Branch; and

Was featured as a "crime expert" on Global television during an interview with reporter Catherine MacDonald, in August 2007.

Ron continually strives to exemplify the core principles of honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, reliability, teamwork, and positive attitude, personally and professionally. It is these traits coupled with his high level of emotional intelligence (E.Q.) and his impressive résumé that exemplifies what ISN stands for and makes Ron a key member of the ISN team.
